While Epic Games just released the big v15.30 patch for Fortnite earlier this week, the company has released the Fortnite update 3.03 February 5 patch that’s also out for next-gen platforms. This isn’t your usual stability patch, as this includes specific fixes for PC, and even the PS5.

Fortnite Update 3.03 February 5 Patch Notes:

Update: Epic Games fired off a new tweet regarding Performance Mode being affected with this new patch.

With the release of this maintenance patch, you will notice a decrease in texture quality when using Performance Mode. This is intended in order to maintain high FPS in the mode and prevent invisible constructions.

Here’s what Epic Games has shared today regarding this new title update:

We’ve released a maintenance patch to address:

-The “Disable Pre-edit Option” in BR/Creative applying to STW
-The recent performance issues on PC (DX12 still impacted)
-The PS5 stability issues

As far as we’re aware, that’s about it. On the official Fortnite Trello board, some issues are still being investigated and we’ve listed some of the pertinent ones below.
